Hi everyone,
We have really grown to enjoy ice in our drinks. When we first got here we were fishing it with spoons and leaving it on the serviettes (napkins.) We also wondered what on earth the strange small buckets were for that we found in every motel room. Then we saw someone at the ice machine (yes, they really do have ice machines and they are HUGE)in the motel and realised that people over here love ice, and put it in everything including TEA!!!
We have grown so used to it that we are going to add to our job list back home "make ice"... Each fridge has an ice maker built in so they dont have that job. Here are a few piccies for you, we really should have taken more photos of the ice so you could really get the picture. They even sell it by the bag full in most stores, including gas stations on the road!!! Wouldn't they be dissappointed in the UK with our one or two cubes if you're lucky.
