Palermo Church


TUESDAY, 31 JULY 2007






Here we are doing a sound check for the Church at Palermo. We had to move everything from the main Church into the fantastic Gym they had, as we couldn't get the monitors working in the church. A big thanks to Phil for giving up so much time to us lot (games of Polo included.) This in the end worked better for us all.
We started the Sunday with an 8.30 am service where Tom was invited to sing with their worship group. Then we dashed to Cornerstone church which was around 25 mins away. There Steve Tom and Joe did an acoustic set of songs, we then had lunch with the Cates....THANK YOU! and a quick get back to set up and practice before the evening concert at 6pm. This was special to us and had it's fair share of mishaps too...dropped drumsticks, knocked over microphones, batteries missing from an effects box....but like the true heros they are they played so well. We all enjoyed this concert. May it just be the start of many great concerts to come. Thank you to all who came.
