Concerts


SATURDAY, 28 JULY 2007







The first concert we did in Linton was at Linton First Christian Church. We didn't get off to a great start. We forgot about the hour time difference between Tennessee where we had arrived from and this part of Indiana. To be honest, we sounded dreadful at the sound check. We wondered what the sound guys must have been thinking.
But, the concert went ahead and on the day it was a great success. We played at 8:15 in the morning (early morning services over here are very popular with more turning up early than later). Next was at the same church for the 11:00 service (by this time David had got our van started, which was a bit nerve-wracking when you have promised to turn up and your van won't start!). The church also put on a lovely buffet lunch and we had time to fellowship with some wonderful people. This gave us just enough time to pack up and get to another church for a sound check at 4:00pm........to be continued.
