Michigan

Can you swim in Michigan? YES YOU CAN! Even though they are melted ice caps the lakes are warm. It's strikes us odd to go to the 'beach' to swim and find that the water does not taste salty. It is hard to believe that these freeze over each winter. We are so grateful to the Bacons for giving up their time and days for us and showing us the sights. We had a day of swimming, sightseeing and even a trip to the water falls. Can you imagine swimming at 9pm in bath temperature water so far North! It's an amazing place Michigan, nothing like we imagined it...so much better!
