White face Mountain


MONDAY, 6 AUGUST 2007









Back at Tom and Hilary's.... We had a really spectacular day out with the Seagroves. They took us to a place called Whiteface Mountain, near Lake Placid( Twice the location of the winter olympics.) We drove the steep climb up and then walked the remainder, (also an elevator in a cave type tunnel..very exciting) the views as you can imagine are breathtaking! Also a little nerve wracking as in places there are no railings either. We all had a great time and tried to take it all in, life has it's many valleys and mountain top experiences, this was a definate mountain top ! Thanks Seagroves for taking us here.
